On my day off i decided to visit the local lumber yard to acquire some wood to begin prototyping the DoodleStation when suddenly an idea hit me. Why physically build the construct for these prototyping purposes when quite possible a large cardboard box could work. Its durable and if heating become an issue early on we could cut holes in it to vent and cool it. Instead of using real glass for the top of the station I could use an old sheet of plexiglass which would also serve as sufficient support for the DoodleBlocks. Today I will also visit town to get some pieces of wood and begin shaving them to make some early DoodleBlock prototypes so we have something physical for the start of second semester, it might inspire ideas once we have the actual block in our hands!
